THE VILLAGE, A CONTINUATION

Disclaimer: Ugh...I hate doing this every time I write a chapter, but here goes...I do not own "The Village". M. Night Shyamalan wrote it and it is his. Ok? Ok. Good. Now that we got that settled...author's note!

Author's note: I'm really proud of how well this story is going. It's one of the best things I've ever written, in my humble opinion. I've written a few political articles that were a smidge better, but, I'm still exceedingly impressed with this. Ok, a lot of the stuff in the next few chapter's is not going to seem scientifically possible to you, but it will all be explained in the end. Just stick with me and I will not disappoint you...I hope! Ok, on with the show!

Chapter Seven

Lucius Hunt was sitting beside his sleeping wife's bed, his head in his hands and his heart in his stomach. He was terrified of what would take place in the next few hours. Would Ivy be able to see? Would she get sick from the medicine? What would she think of Lucius, should the pills work? Would she find him handsome? Would she be disappointed? Her father had told Lucius that even if she regained her sight, it may only last a few hours before leaving again. He also told Lucius that this may continue for days, her sight leaving and returning. All of these thoughts were rushing around his head, bombarding him with fears and hopes. He imagined Ivy looking at him, really looking at him for the first time since they were children.

"Lucius?" Edward Walker entered the room cautiously, handing him a mug of cider and a bowl of stew, "Here, you need this."

"Thank you, Mr. Walker," Lucius said quietly. He was still very angry with Edward Walker. Lucius could not understand how a man could keep something like that from his own daughter. He could have made it possible for her to see years ago. Why had he not given Ivy the pills then? He sighed frustratedly and took a sip of his cider. When the warmth of the beverage made its way down his throat, he felt a little calmer, "Mr. Walker?" Lucius glared at the older man, "I am very confused and angry with you right now," he sighed, "But I am giving you the grace that Ivy will undoubtedly give you. I just hope you are prepared for her reaction when she is able to see again and realizes what she has been missing out on." Lucius's tone was slightly bitter, but he knew that he needed to forgive Edward. He was Ivy's father, and Lucius knew better than to get between a woman and her father.

"I know son," the older man replied quietly, "I thank you for your grace." Edward looked down into his lap, as if he were a puppy that had just gotten into severe trouble.

Lucius nodded and stood up silently, "I think you should leave. I'm not sure Ivy will be ready to see you yet when she wakes," Lucius crossed his arms involuntarily, "I do not believe we will be at services tomorrow." Edward gave Lucius a look which told him that he understood as he rose up and made his way to the opened the door. Lucius glanced at Ivy's sleeping form before exiting the room to show their guest to the door.

"Goodbye, Lucius," Edward Walker looked 10 years older than he had a few hours before.

"Mr. Walker." Lucius merely acknowledged him. The older man put on his coat and walked out into the chilled air, his head hung in shame.

Lucius stood at the door, watching Edward Walker make his way back home. A feeling of utter confusion washed over him and he sat down right where he was standing and sobbed. He sobbed in anger and frustration, but he also sobbed in confusion and fear. His body wracked with sobs and all he could do was sit and let it out.

Ivy Hunt felt strange. Very strange. Her head hurt a bit and her limbs felt heavy. She raised up and stretched, yawning a little. Suddenly she remembered the medication she had taken. She bit he lip suddenly and was very glad she had not opened her eyes yet. She lay down in the bed and pulled the blankets over her face, frightened of what she may or may not see.

Very cautiously, she opened one eye and nearly screamed.

She saw the white of the sheets. White! A obvious, blunt, real, true color! She abruptly tore the blankets off of her face so that she could see the room she was in, but there were candles lit and it was too bright for her sensitive eyes. She tried once more, shielding her eyes until they were used to the brightness. She vaguely noticed that the room was very pretty, but she was too interested in getting downstairs to the love of her life to fully appreciate it.

She nearly leapt from the bed and quickly made her way through the house, trying to remember the route she had taken time and time again, observing the fine craftsmanship as she went along. She finally found the stairs and made her way down them, nearly running, until she reached what appeared to be, from what she could remember, a kitchen. She then, finally, saw her husband, curled on the floor, weeping.

He was beautiful. She, herself, nearly wept at the mere sight of him. Even though his face was stained with tears, he was gorgeous. His hair was made up of thick, raven waves. His body was trim, but not too thin. He raised his head and she began crying when she saw his face. He was like an angel. He had thick black eyebrows and long curly eyelashes surrounding his beautiful chocolate brown eyes. His lips were full and a sort of rosy light-brown.

When Lucius saw his wife standing before him, he looked deeply into her eyes and he noted that she was looking just as deeply directly in his own. His heart nearly stopped, and his jaw dropped slightly.

"I...Ivy?" his voice was shaky and he abruptly stood and looked at her nervously, his head tilted to the side as if he was trying to read her mind.

"Oh, Lucius," Ivy ran to her husband, throwing her arms around him, moving her hands over his face as she stared at him in awe. He began kissing her lovingly, tears continuing down his face as they began to trail down Ivy's as well. Ivy gasped, wrapping her legs around his waist as his hand went to her breast, her eyes open all the while, not wanting to miss a second of him. "Lucius," she gasped as he kissed and sucked on her neck hungrily, "You are so beautiful," she murmured before kissing him again. Lucius put his hands on her buttocks to support her and carried her swiftly up the stairs to their bedroom.

"Ivy," he murmured into her neck as he continued to kiss her, "I want to make love to you until neither of us can move," he groaned slightly, "And until our bodies are covered in sweat and we are begging for each other," Ivy's eyes widened as Lucius spoke so explicitly, never imagining her shy, coy husband saying such things...she liked it. She liked it quite a bit.

When he finally kicked the door of the room open, Ivy pulled away from him and put her feet on the ground, putting her hands on his chest, "Wait," she gasped, "Wait...I want to go slow," she smiled shyly at him, "I want to watch you."

Lucius, blushing slightly, nodded and smiled as Ivy reached for the buttons of his shirt, taking her time unbuttoning each one. When most of the flesh of his chest was revealed, Ivy felt her breathing uneven and her heart begin to pound. When she finally pushed the shirt off of her shoulders, she thought she would die with joy at the sight before her. He had very broad, solid shoulders. His chest was muscular and hard, black hair scattered across it, leading down a line below his navel until it disappeared under the waistband of his pants. Curious about what was hidden beneath the pesky fabric of his trousers, she unbuttoned them quickly and pushed them down his legs, leaving him completely nude and her completely dressed.

Ivy's eyes widened as she saw Lucius completely, for the first time. Her jaw dropped and her mouth went dry. She began questioning how something so sizable had fit inside of her, 'That's why it hurt the first time,' she thought to herself. Hesitantly, she pushed him to the bed, making him lay down as she lay atop him. She began kissing him deeply, smiling into the kiss as she felt his hands move to her back to undo the buttons of her own dress, only much, much quicker than she had done. He undid her buttons as if his life depended upon it.

Once all of the pesky closures were undone, he hastily pulled it off of her body and took in her naked form, his eyes sweeping over her hungrily. He ran his hands from her thighs to her breast and Ivy gasped and moaned as she watched him touch her through half open eyes. She touched his chest carefully, stroking the flesh, going lower and lower until she reached the familiar and unfamiliar flesh several inches below his navel.

Shocked and incredibly aroused by then knew feeling of her hand on him so intimately, Lucius suddenly flipped her over and entered her swiftly, thrusting into her slowly but deeply. Ivy watched in amazement as her husband made love to her. She began crying softly at the sight. His forehead was perspiring, causing his coal black hair to curl. His eyes were almost closed and face contorted with each thrust as he groaned softly. She was so stricken by the sight and sounds of him that she didn't even notice her own cries and moans. The combination of seeing and feeling and hearing quickly took its toll on Ivy as she cried out her husband's name louder than she ever had, shaking more than she ever had and moaning longer than she ever had.

As Ivy experienced this extreme climax, Lucius let himself go, allowing his body to collapse atop her as the ecstasy washed over him. He groaned and shook slightly as he spilled within her. They had not yet made love like that before, and they knew it was the beginning of something wonderful. After he had regained a bit of his strength, he moved to roll off of her, but she abruptly stopped him, wrapping her arms around her and holding him close to her, his head laying between her breasts and his hands resting on her hips. That is how they fell into slumber, filled with joy like they had never known.

Ivy Walker woke the next morning, opening her eyes immediately and grinning madly as she observed the man still laying on her chest. His head lay just above her breasts and one of his hands was resting on her stomach, while the other was tucked under her, his legs stretched across her own. She was sure this hand had fallen asleep, but he looked so happy, she couldn't find it in her heart to wake him. She merely lay and admired him for several minutes: his long black eyelashes brushing his cheeks, the slight arch in his nose, the fullness of his lips, the curve of his cheek. She could not have asked for a more beautiful, wonderful husband. She delicately stroked his back and arms until his eyes fluttered and he raised up to kiss her lips tenderly.

"Good morning, my love," he whispered in her ear as he began to kiss her jaw and neck. Ivy giggled slightly and smiled.

"Good morning, sweet," she gasped a little as he nibbled on the flesh of her neck, moving down slowly. When he reached her breasts, she bit her lip to hold back a groan. Lucius immediately noticed this and stopped, raising up.

"Don't hold back, Ivy," he kissed her lips again before moving back down again. Ivy moaned softly as Lucius closed his mouth around her nipples, gently sucking and teasing them. When Lucius was satisfied with Ivy's dazed state, he moved down her body, kissing her stomach and hips along the way. When he finally reached his chosen destination, what he suspected would happen did happen. Ivy gasped and cried out at the same time, raising slightly.

"Lucius, you can't..." she began to gasp in protest.

"Shh, relax and enjoy it," he murmured before he began his experimentation, sending Ivy into oblivion, her hands were in his hair and she was writhing and gasping beneath him.

Before she could finish, he raised up and thrust within her, causing her to cry out and cling to him helplessly. She felt more vulnerable than she had in a long time, feeling him thrusting within her faster than he ever had, almost to the point of hurting her, but the immense pleasure hid any discomfort and threw her into ecstasy.

When he finally pulled away from her, thoroughly spent, she began to cry softly. Lucius noticed and immediately felt horrid, thinking he had hurt her so badly that she was crying.

"Ivy," he gently held her face, "Ivy, I'm so sorry...I've hurt you, I'm so sorry! I should've..." Ivy put a finger to his lips and smiled through her tears.

"No Lucius," she was crying quite a bit now, "It was wonderful, I'm just so overwhelmed," she sniffed and wiped the tears from her eyes, "But I love you Lucius. I love you very much."

Lucius kissed Ivy lovingly before whispering in her ear that he was going to go make her breakfast and for her to stay put.

He quickly made his way down stairs, whistling merrily, before he heard a blood curdling scream that would put a drearily heavy load on his cheerful mood.
